Butyl Rubber Sheets
Butyl rubber is a copolymer or isobutylene and a little level of isoprene and has an exceptionally low penetrability to air and different gases. It has phenomenal protection from ozone, oxidation and daylight, with a brilliant temperature scope of - 45° C to + 130° C.
Butyl has an exceptionally low versatility, which makes it ideal for vibration damping and shock retention applications yet offer a moderate protection from scraped spot and pressure set. With cautious compounding, Butyl compound can be made to secure great rigidity. It is impervious to most inorganic items and profoundly impervious to mineral acids, basic and watery acids.
We don't suggest its utilization in
application where protection from oils and Hydrocarbons is required. We can
offer halogenated Butyl rubber Sheets for indicated applications.
